In 2015, AFA lost a dear friend, Ryan Hrubes, in a car accident. To honor Ryan’s legacy, his wife Emily, sister Andrea and brother Nathan established the AFA Alliance Lifelong Learner Grant in memory of Ryan in 2016.
The AFA Alliance Lifelong Learner Grant will underwrite the cost of registration to AllianceX in Ryan’s name. This grant is awarded based on intended outcomes of participation expressed through a short essay. All attendees are eligible for the grant. The scholarship will be awarded before AllianceX and the registration fee will be refunded following the event.
