Cancellation Policy
In the interest of protecting AFA sponsor resources, the following cancellation practices will be followed.
2026 NACD + AFA Sustainability Institute (February 15-17)
Students
Fast Pass Only – December 11 - January 11: A fee of $50 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
January 12-25: A fee of $100 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
January 26-February 8: A fee of $200 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
February 9 – Institute: A fee of $300 will be assessed to you upon cancellation
Industry
Adjustments or cancellations to your registration must be made through lexy.mullins@agfuture.org by January 16th.
January 7th: Deadline to register/confirm participation at 2026 AFA + NACD Sustainability Institute – this includes speaker roles.
January 14th: Deadline for speakers to cancel team members and replace with other team members. If a team member is unable to participate in the program following this day, no other team member from company will be able to participate/replace that individual unless specified by AFA staff member.
Upon submission of the registration, you/your organization agree to the cancellation stated above. Please contact Lexy Mullins for questions and concerns.
2026 AFA Precision Agriculture Institute (February 25-27)
Students
Fast Pass Only – December 11- January 11: A fee of $50 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
January 12 - February 3: A fee of $100 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
February 4-17: A fee of $200 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
February 18 – Institute: A fee of $300 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
2026 AFA Animal Institute (April 12-14)
Fast Pass Only – January 25-March 5: A fee of $50 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
March 6-19: A cancellation fee of $100 will be assessed to the student.
March 20 - April 2: A cancellation fee of $200 will be assessed to the student.
April 3 - Institute: A cancellation fee of $300 will be assessed to the student.
2026 AFA Plant Science Institute (July 19-21)
Fast Pass Only – April 6-June 12: A fee of $50 will be assessed to you upon cancellation.
June 13-26: A cancellation fee of $100 will be assessed to the student.
June 27 - July 10: A cancellation fee of $200 will be assessed to the student.
July 11 - Institute: A cancellation fee of $300 will be assessed to the student.

June 16th: Deadline to register/confirm participation at 2025 Plant Science Institute – this includes speaker roles.

2025 AFA Leaders Conference
October 13– October 19: A cancellation fee of $100 will be assessed to the student.
October 20 – November 2: A cancellation fee of $200 will be assessed to the student.
November 3 -November 6 : A cancellation fee of $300 will be assessed to the student.

September 28th: Deadline to register/confirm participation at 2025 AFA Leaders Conference – this includes speaker roles.
October 10th: Deadline to cancel team members and replace with other team members. If a team member is unable to participate in the program following this day, no other team member from company will be able to participate/replace that individual unless specified by AFA staff member.

In the event that the COVID-19 situation is affecting the ability to travel or gather at the time of the event, AFA will waive cancelation fees.
Attendees are responsible for booking and financially supporting their travel to and from the AFA program unless they are a recipient of an AFA travel grant. They are responsible for their travel even in the event the program is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation fees will be invoiced to the canceling attendee for payment to Agriculture Future of America. Send all cancellations to programs@agfuture.org.
